Yea unfortunately on opening week i shot a doe that i never found. Followed blood for 5 hours. The blood following is a rush to me as well. Cant wait to get down n find him!

Its been half hour since i shot him but it feels like ive been in this stand for a day

 

I shot him at 8:40. Saw him lay down about 40-50 yards away. How long should i wait to get out of stand?? Im thinkin 945 ill get down to check the arrow

X2...thats how i was taught and i still do it today..its cool to see what they were doing after the shot..kinda see how effective your skill and equipment is...good job...[up]

He stopped an did the drunk wobble. Kind of behind a bush so i couldnt see great. Looked like he fell over sideways

 

I think it's been long enough, get down and follow the blood and go easy, take your time he ain't going anywhere. Congrats![up]

Havnt found any blood yet. Arrow ia clean. I know it hit him though

Nope. I think i may have jumped the gun saying i got one. Arrow was completely clean and no smell at all. Circled area for blood no sign at all. Adrenaline may have had me thinking i saw things i didnt i dont know.

 

Don't give up. If you saw the wabble he is done. I had a clean pass through once and the first blood wasn't visible for 40 yds. The arrow was fairly clean on mine too. You had to almost use a microscope to see it. I saw him do the drunkin wabble about where I found the blood. I didn't wait long enough. Would find sporadic blood between 40 and 80 yds. At the hundred yd mark it looked like a 2 liter bottle was turned upside down for about 15 yds. Then we came upon a bed with a puddle and no deer. Followed scant 1 drop every 10 15 yds trail for another 5 or 6 hrs and never caught up to him.
