First sit in a new spot that had heavy deer traffic on the ground and I smoked this doe at 18yds. After climbing down to check my arrow I find the blades on my grim reaper broken off. At first I thought it was the ground impact from the close shot. Once finally finding the doe about 100 yards away and dressing her, I noticed it was a double lunger. Weird thing was that the exit wound was the size of a field tip. The broadhead went in quartering away at a good angle and coming out it blew threw the opposite shoulder breaking the blades. Figured what the hell, and called Grim Reaper leaving a message. Next morning I received a phone call from a rep and he was very helpful and curious b/c he had seen this maybe 2 or 3 times in his 7 years with the company. Anyway all he wanted was a pic to send to his manufacturer and an address to send me replacements ASAP. Said it could have been over heated in the heat treatment process. Great company and great broadhead bc it gets the job done.
