I found a piece of woods that is close to a WMA and notice the diamond white F&W signs. There are houses close by in a certain spot but technicall this means its huntable being there are no posed signs and I am 450 feet away correct? Do you think if I goto the conservation building they would have a map or more information on this?

I would call the local CO's office to be sure, but from what I know if they post the signs, it's huntable land. As long as it doesn't fall within a safety zone.

Not butterfly bogs is it .If it is you cant hunt there .

If it has the F&W signs and you are 450' from any building, you can hunt there. There are maps available for download of all WMAs on the F&W website.

If you have not looked at the map, I would not go past the last F&W sign.

what are is it theirs lots of areas being added on to w.m.a in the past couple of years clinton has expanded big time and theirs parts that nobody realy knows about includeing fish and game clinton has three ares on the other side of 78 in zone 10 but it doesnt say that on the state land list it only shows zone 7 for clinton but one is land locked so has no acess just like land trust if its land locked its closed to the public

thats how i found out about the other part of clinton its called clinton west its miles away from the rest of it
