Why are all your comments some kind of quip? Did I do something to offend you?
no to try and jack your thread but some how on every thread that is positive there seems to be a way that the negative comments always seem to show and prevail
sucks but in your question get em from your deck if that is where they are then get em if i had an elevated deck off my house and could kill deer from there i would hunt every am instead of walking two miles into the woods in the dark[ninja]:)

Look Mr Neighbor... I shot a deer in my backyard and he ran towards yours im pretty sure hes gonna die and probably start stinking pretty bad in a few days, your kids will see it and have nightmares for a long time. Since its private property the township isnt gonna come clean it up. You should probably just let me come retrieve it and be on my way. Thanks

Do yourself a favor and print out some of those permission slips in the compendium and have your closest neighbors (within 150') sign them and hold on to them incase another neigbor gets PO'd. Better to be safe then sorry. Other then that you are legal but always have it in writing to be on the safe side.

I wish I had the property you do to hunt off it. Good luck and make the shot count. Get the written permission you need. Get to know your neighbors ,neighbors and have them sign a release if possible. or Maybe let your neighbors talk to them and let them know your trying to keep the herd population down to avoid property destruction and car incidents. Offer to share some of the meat. Disregard the comments from those who like myself only own a 1/4 acre or worse yet rent. They're only jealous. Good luck to you , you lucky ba$tard.[up]:D
Someday I plan to moveand own enough so I can do the same.[patcheye]

doesn't even have his bow license and wants to shoot deer from his deck [hihi][hihi] these new hunters have it all wrong..try freezing your @$$ off for a few days and see if you like hunting as much as you shooting them off your deck once they come in [ko]

i would just take the risk of shooting a deer then hopefully it doesn't run far..if they won't let you get it then theres nothing you can do, not your fault..you will always be risking that happening when you're shooting deer so close to houses, so just try your absolute hardest to make clean, ethical shots and practice often![up][up][up]

I guess to each his own.
But it seems this is missing the hunting part, and a lot more like pest control.
But, just cross your t's and dot your eyes with this, because it can open a whole world of sh!t if you cross that legal line.
But have at it I guess.

Just for my own curiosity, do you want to hunt the deer in your yard and go through the potential hassles because they are doing damage or because you don't want to hunt the public land that no one is hunting anyway?

Just curious because the greatest joy of hunting to me is getting out of the house.
