If your gonna bait put it out early and not a lot!..... The right way to do it from what i here is a timed feeder have it set to only go off during the day. If there is bait there at night there gonna come at night its more safe!! If there hungary and the feeder goes off in the late morning then they will be there b4 the does eat it all that afternoon.

You are probably baiting in a high pressure area, or they are going somewhere else to feed on something better first. Try not baiting

you just need to take your time and scout instead of bait ..you need to figure out what there feeding on and when and where there beding its not alway as easy as itn sounds deer will change ther habits weekly some times... it all comes down to the feed

bedding areas will usually have long grass and you will find matted down areas the size of deer. In leaves they pack it down in areas the size of deer.
Late season in snow look for areas with no snow the size of a deer (they melt the snow with thier body heat and form pockets)best time to find bedding areas is right after the late season. walking around looking for them now is not a good idea

Stop baiting and find the natural food sources, or fields they are eating from, hunt their trails leading to and from these food sources.
