Only bad thing was the deer was on the grass by the entrance to my church & people were staring at me when they drove by, while i was cutting them off.

I saw a nice 8 point hit by a car in Jefferson 2 years ago. I waited for the cops to get there. I asked the cop if he could give me a roadkill tag. He called his headquarters and they told me to come and get the tag. the cop helped me put the Buck in my truck. I took it home , butchered it and only the front left shoulder was no good.

 

It is a Fish&Game violation. I don't know why anyone would want them anyway. If I get a trophy rack then I want it from my own fair game hunt.

 

Its not Illegal in PA......I would cut the head off if it were a huge racked buck.......why not do it, would be a waste too see a trophy get tossed in a pit by the deer cleaners that pick carcusses up over here

Yes it is illegal in PENNSYLVANIA to keep road kill antlers, as it is in most states that I have hunted.

Any antlers other than sheds that your in possession of, must have a tag to go with them. It doesn't matter what state you kill them in.
