I want to know peoples HONEST opinion on whether you would cut antlers off of road kill bucks. The past 2 days I have been on 78 from one end of Jersey all the way to the other end and I have seen a TON of dead deer and some were bucks that had the antlers cut off. Every time I see it I think of how crazy and sick people are to stop on the side of an interstate to cut antlers off of a dead animal.

So like I said, who on this site has done it before or would do it.

I could NOT do it myself.

I saw a nice 8 point hit by a car in Jefferson 2 years ago. I waited for the cops to get there. I asked the cop if he could give me a roadkill tag. He called his headquarters and they told me to come and get the tag. the cop helped me put the Buck in my truck. I took it home , butchered it and only the front left shoulder was no good.

Its not Illegal in PA......I would cut the head off if it were a huge racked buck.......why not do it, would be a waste too see a trophy get tossed in a pit by the deer cleaners that pick carcusses up over here
Yes it is illegal in PENNSYLVANIA to keep road kill antlers, as it is in most states that I have hunted.

Any antlers other than sheds that your in possession of, must have a tag to go with them. It doesn't matter what state you kill them in.
