Not one piece of evidence has been released saying any cop did anything to Gray. The only 'ear witness' says Gray was damaging himself, yet you blame the police.
It just seems the most likely conclusion by far, they had just kneed him in back at the very least within the last half hr. If mother theresa had done that i would say she most likely did it. Key word is most likely, not necessarily definitely. As a police officer would you consider a recently arrested persons ear witness account solid evidence when he nevrr spoke to the guy but heard banging & concluded he was trying to hurt himself? Is it rare for an arrested person to bang againt the paddy wagon? I doubt it. Im not a cop but i sure wouldnt even though i would investigate further.

Let's be real. If the cops did this, then let them pay. If it was by his own doing, then oh well, too bad.another drug using, drug dealing criminal off the street. If it was an accident, then oh well. Don't commit crimes, you won't have an accident in the back of a paddy wagon. And by the way, same exact scenario, but black cops and a white thug....no riots, no all sharp tons,no comments from Obama, no news coverage,no clueless mayor allowing looting. You wouldn't even be commenting here even if you did read about it. Racist cops? Yeah there probably are some if those in every city. There are also cops who were never racist until they became cops. Why do you think that is? I work in the NYC housing projects almost every day. Ive been asked by black cops, what are you white boys doing in the hood? Racist? If a white cop asked a black guy working in a white suburb the same thing....lawsuit? News coverage? racist white cop?

Most likely conclusion, based on what? And putting your knee on someone's neck or back to hold them down, while not exactly textbook, is a far cry from "kneeing" someone in the back. I stand by my statement that there has been NO information provided to say that anyone other than Freddie Gray caused his own death.

Most likely? Show me your evidence that leads you to say this.

In the absence of ANY evidence to the contrary? Yep. You have to.

It is a lot more common than you think. And no one said not to investigate. In fact, BPD is doing a thorough invest, and turning everything over to the state... But as of right now there has been NOTHING that says the cops did anything to hurt Gray, yet you blame the cops.

Just announced - it's going to be prosecuted as a homicide.
Yeah, the investigation found no evidence of police brutality, it found the incident that injured his spine happened while he was in the back of the van, and there were no officers there, yet they are all being charged because he was not put in his seatbelt. Yes there should be "some" accountability for that but these charges are extremely overreaching and just pandering to the animals that came out to destroy the city. As soon as I saw Sharpton running the Mayor, I knew injustice was coming.

If the police who didn't place him in a seat belt are responsible for his injury, is the Mayor, who ordered the police to stand down, not respond to rioters, and let them carry on like that, responsible for the injuries to police and damage to property? Moreso, yet there will be no justice for the police officers who were hurt or property owners who lost everything.

most likely only one of them got too rough with him.
And you're getting this info from where exactly? You really never stop, do you?

I am normally not much given to the notion that suspects are routinely roughed up by the police in arrests. This is especially so when the whole community takes to the streets with blanket charges of racism, poverty, decades of degradation, ignoring problems of their own making, rhythmic chants, followed by the obligatory looting. However in this case I think I may suspend judgment until all the facts have been ascertained by investigative authorities. I think there may be grounds for the police accidentally and unintentionally having injured Freddie and compounding the injury by violating procedures and ignoring the possibility of having injured him in the takedown. If an investigation reveals this to be so I think there may be some convictions for negligent homicide, (maybe manslaughter) dismissal from the force and a hefty settlement to his family. I do not think any of this was done because of racism on the part of the police but at times all of us do not do our jobs the way we should and bad things happen. Anyway, I want to see an impartial investigation by the appropriate authorities conducted in at atmosphere of calm, forensic deliberation (not in the media and not in the streets). It may be that such an investigation will reveal findings we will have difficulty in accepting but let the chips fall where they may. No, I don't like how this may go down. It smells, but sometimes fertilizer makes for a good harvest.

When someone says it seems like or most likely, doesnt that imply they dont have actual info. Where were you getting your info from exactly? Oh yeah, you're speculating too except your biased against the black guy or blinded in favor of the police....you really never stop, do you?

Wrong again. My opinions are based on the only 'ear witness' statement, as nothing else has been released. YOU say the cops 'most likely', then one of the officers 'may have' with absolutely no basis in any presented fact.
I have not said "I back the cops." I have only asked you to provide any reason for your statements besides your obvious bias against the police in this incident.

I'll ask you again, on what basis to you reach the opinion that anyone did anything to cause the death of Freddie Gray other than Freddie Gray?

A cop had his knee in his back half hr before & his larynx was crushed!!! You actually think it a conicdence that his back is broken a half hr later??? Me & the prosector are the only idiots who could possibly think the 2 events are linked in your mind? Wow, hope you apply more logic & less bias in your other investigation s.

I find it interesting that the prosecutor ruled that the arrest was illegal because the knife he was carrying was not a switch blade, was not open and was lawful under MD law to carry on his person. I wonder if you could get a ruling from a NJ prosecutor that such might be the situation in a NJ arrest. Any readers who are LEO's, or attorneys, does that ever happens in NJ?

I searched for the crushed larynx. Only reports I've found say 'injured voice box.' And again, show me any evidence that's been presented that says the cops injured him.

Oh well injured voice box makes it all ok or now we,re nit picking?? U certainly must have thought oj is innocent too then because the glove didnt fit & there was no proof he did it even though it only seemed to brle the most likely conclusion. I never metioned having any proof or evidence so
Why u asking for it?

"If the glove does not fit, you must aquit"!

Michael Jackson was innocent too! According to Johnny Cochran... Whom is probably burning right now, with Robert Kardashian in their own circle in hell.
