I do not believe that you are allowed to use archery equipment UNLESS you tag on your extended permit.

I plan on being out there in zone 9 with my stickthrower.

yeah i think you have to be in the extended permit tag during 6day to use a bow

Yea, you can hunt with a bow on your extended season tag, during 6-day..

The areas I hunt either dont get hit with gun much or at all and some are surrounded by discharge restricted areas, like the properties I hunt in Zone 14.

I'd just assume hunt with archery tackle and not risk spooking the deer, although I dont think a few random shots spook deer that much.

Haha...I'm not anti gun-hunter, I'm a pro bow hunting !!

Honestly, I enjoy being out with a firearm, but I dont get the satisfaction from a gun harvest like I do from a bow harvest. And like I said, in some areas I hunt, no firearms can be discharged.

Normally I'd just continue bowhunting, but I have the license from predator hunting last winter, so I might as well go shotgun hunting.

Plus, its the only way I can shoot another buck until Winter bow.

I am gonna pick the gun up for a few days and then continue bowhunting after the 6-day fiasco dies down.
