Just wondering if anyone's been out this season in zone 1 (Flatbrook-Roy WMA) hunting turkeys and if you had success, thanks.

I hunt a few miles north, I heard one bird gobble 3 times last week, and he was on the PA side, hunted two more times and never heard a bird. Spoke to a few others I saw at the deli and the reported the same....what about yourself?

In 1985 I called in 3 big gobblers across the river from P.A.. They came flying in like B-52's. Shot one when it landed 10 yards away from me. Was hunting just north of Dingmans Ferry. Couldn't believe they came across! I'm sure it wasn't my great calling. Probably planning on coming across anyway.

The roy area gets beat to death every which way. Im not saying you will not see a bird but better places in the area to go.

Can you be more specific as to what are the better areas please? Thank you in advance

Get into the hills.. A lot of road hunters in that area so it keep the birds up high.
