When I used to shoot 3-D targets a lot I built a couple stands similar to those but I put lawn mower wheels on one end and a set of legs and a handle on the other end, then I could just wheel the targets where ever I wanted to shoot them. When I dropped the handle the legs would stick in the ground slightly locking the target in place.
