No hunting for me today. I have to insulate the attic. argh. [cry][down][down][down]

 

absolutely no movement so far. might be the first time i'm skunked all year.

 

had deer all over my bait pile in the dark and nobody shows up for sunrise.[mad]checked the trialcam and one of the deer that was on my bait pile was the big eight I've been waiting for....#@!#@!!#!@@@!!![wallmad][wallmad]

same here. Haven't seen a deerin zone 2 but have them on camera at 3:30am this morning..[wallmad]I'm going to try to stick it out all day..Oh YEAH 4 bears.. I'll post pics later..

 

I'll be heading out tonight for A doe Management hunt, with 3 of my Buddies from the farm. We are all gonna take a Doe and cut them up in the work shop into cutlets and Roasts. We are Bored all took P&Y bucks within the first 2 weeks back in September. Just want to get on stand and be in the woods again. Farm is over run with Does.

 

Saw a nice 8 at 27 yards, but the squirrels right under my tree got me picked off. Only deer I saw.

We had an exciting morning. Saw 8 bucks and a bunch of doe.

no. and that's the depressing part. i saw a nice 8 on public land last night on the way back from my "honeyhole" [wallmad][sad]

 

i did not see one deer. i only seen 6 deer all season nj hunt is the worst i been thinking about going back to pa hunting since i moved here

just got in from duck hunting gonna pass on deer today to tired.

great day for stalking/still hunting here in central NJ nice and windy. if you guys have access to standing corn go push through em!

if your pushing the hard woods move slow through bedding areas once you kick em up drop to your belly and let them get comfy again...with this wind they wont smell or hear ya ansd if you dont move your all set!

Bad morning hope to see something this afternoon.

 

All the deer this morning were in the dark between 5 and 6 am. After that a big fat-o. I sat till 11:30.
The only thing I had was fat raccoons running around. one walked right to my tree,peeked up at me and walked off.I guess he was hoping for a handout

not a thing this morning. Absolutely no movement in part of Z48.

 

Doing a pequest sit right now. I didn't get out in morning. I'm sitting where we start the "tit" push. I went down dirt path and got over river and is setup between cedars and river. A lot of rubs and fresh scrapes around. Very windy!

 

Sounds like someone is rattling down by river.

 

Hopefully for your sake, it is actually two bucks fighting

No, ms22. Not two bucks. One hunter. Keeps doing it. The friggin dirtbikes are here too. Running up and down that path.

 

Had a 5 pointer bed down 15 yards away in the brush in zone 5 this morning... I wasn't even expecting that after having someone walking all over the area, first by me, then out into the nearby fields and past my buddy.. and kicking up all the does.

Eventually the 5 got up and walked away... nothing else seen.
