I FOBed my first doe of the season on Saturday. At first I thought FOB were another gimick, but I was curious to see if they worked as claimed. and refletching arrows all the time gets old real quick. so I gave them a thorough testing over the summer. they flew perfect with field points and broadheads, close up and at longer yardages. no problems other than you can't shoot groups unless you like buying arrows.[wallmad] I'll give them a two thumbs up [up][up]

my dad did the same... put a dab of hot glue in to keep them from falling out unexpected... said they made a hell of a POP when the hot glue gave loose! LOL
not bad, i might switch over to them next year...

he had a tough time getting the clearence with his rest.. we ended up cutting the prongs on the mathews rest to only a 1/8" long to clear... works well now.

Congrats on the doe Mike. [up] I'm still not sold on them. My neighbor was shooting them last summer...they were LOUD! They make ALOT of noise heading downrange.

I have no problem with Blazers, and get great accuracy out to 60 yards with Slick Tricks, so "if it aint broke, don't fix it" is my current attitude.

What kind of broadheads? I wanted to try them but some discussions on ArcheryTalk.Com led me to believe that they lost control with bigger or heavier broadheads.

Oh...congrats on the deer.
