Spent a little time in the woods today and man the mosquitos are herendous this year. I don't remember it ever being this bad. Friend of mine showed me his Thermocell and I was impressed but I did smell it when he turned it on. I hate to use anything that smells so I was thinking of going with a headnet. What are you guys doing or thinking about using so you don't get eaten alive?
Bug spray,thermacell or headnet?

Before I got the holster I wrapped a piece of heavy copper wire around the unit tight with pliers, then left enough tag end to wrap around tree stand arm or backpack.

Thermacell for the skeeters, permanone for the ticks and chiggers, and facemask for camo and additional mosquito protection

ive used it for a couple years. to hang it i just pop the bottom plastic fuel cover off and run a piece of camo cord or shoe lace through the bottom and out one of the side vents. just tie a knot in the end of the cord so it cant slip through the vent.i then put a loop on the cord so i can just hang it off my stand or a branch near me.it says in the instructions to lay it flat but i find the pads lasts longer (4-6 hours) and doesnt puff smoke as much hanging upright.the holster to me is kinda goofy. might be good for fishing but i dont use it in the stand.if there is a breeze out its less effective.
