Boots wearing at heels

My muck woody elites have some wear in the heel. I wore then socks and heel was pretty sore by the end of the day. What could I use to repair this?

its the back part of my heel I was thinking duct tape..sucks gonna have to wear thicker socks

Get them re-soled.....fairly cheap for a Vibram sole. I have to get special boots made and when they get re-soled it's only $55

Dr Scholls makes a heal pad insert that sticks to the boot,it helped me when my golf shoes wore my heal raw
