awesome robin! [up]

Does he at least get badge for all that hard work ;) Good job! I have donated to locks of love twice, and it's very rewarding... I am glad your son appreciates the value of doing something good for others. He's a great kid! And very handsome with his new crew cut! hehe

Thanks everyone. I'm going to print out this thread and give it to him. He keeps walking around and telling me that nobody is going to mistake him for a girl now :)

And no, NJFarmGirl, no badge, but it might meet one of the requirements towards the community service badge, we have to check into it further.

Check into a badge of courage, didn't realy think it existed but saw it on tv:D
But what about Nuclear science, Show how radiation treatment leads to hair loss and he stepped up to help resolve the patients anxiety and problem.
Maybe look into family life as you all were behind him, had to look at him and he also will be changing the life of someone and their family.
What ever happens , he doesn't need a textile badge to show what he's made of and how he was raised.[up]

Awesome! My bf is a Eagle Scout and I mentioned this to him and he said that he was VERY impressed and i mentioned him doing the same and he laughed and said if his hair was over an 1" he'd go insane. lol. [up] love reading these kinds of threads!

Ms Grit you and your son should both be proud. It takes a lot of heart to do what he did. That kind of commitment is rare these days in kids. He's a great son and your a very good Mom. God bless you both.
