1. Yes, you can go hunting for a buck right away.

2. No, you can't check two does at the same time with a bow. During permit firearm, I believe that is allowed. However, you CAN shoot multiple does the same day, just have to check each one in before you can shoot the next one.

2 deer at a time may be taken during permit season depending on your zone
Mrfyslaw, please note That's permit shotgun. not permit bow. For all bow seasons, you cannot shoot 2 at a time, you can shoot 2 in a day as long as you checked in the first one before shooting the second one

There's an amendment to the game code allowing me to use my bow and take two bucks during permit shotgun, providing I have the permit gun tag. I'm assuming in that situation I can tag 2 bucks at once. I can't seem to find the deer check regs in the digest

Actually you can only shoot the buck after you have the doe checked and have the proper documents in your hand before you shoot that buck isn't that correct
You can't check a buck w/o the buck stamp, I was just wondering if I had to wait till the next day to shoot my buck. It does say in the regs that only one deer can be taken at a time, It's some tricky reading

Risking the wrath of Cat...

The procedure is that you can shoot a buck the same day as you shoot a doe for EAB.

The doe has to be checked in first, but then you are free to go back out and get a buck the same day.

You cannot shoot a doe, let it lay, and then shoot a buck.
