and the ticks got me! Tested positive for Lymes. This blows. 21 days of antibiotics and I was told I should be feeling better. I know a few people on here have it also. What should I expect next?

Does Lyme disease ever leave your body?
I had heard you have it forever and it could come back at some point or flair up?

If you got it early you probably won't have any more problems. Tiredness will go away in about a week.
I didn't catch mine and spent 6 months on rotating antibiotics and got an eye infection 3 days after going off them ... them back on for another 3 months.
I was told it will always be in my system and there is no history of what may go on long long term. Everytime I get sick I am paranoid.
Another reason to say NO to Obamacare.

Glad you caught it early. I got it by a tick two years ago and then went on a hunt a week later in BC after I saw the bullseye. I was living on 3 motrin every 4 hours until I got back. I thought I threw my back out, that's how much it hurt.
It was the Lyme.
Stress and/or any shock to your body can bring it back too. Be mindful of it and get tested often.

Expect to get a stomache ache if u dont have a full stomache takin those pills...i just started taking the pills monday. other than that its not a huge deal that u got lymes unless it got misdiagnosed for a while and u went to stage three. but if your in stage one or two u sould be fine for awhile until u get bit again like me and get it 2 times and have to go thru it all over again
If your stomach problems get worse ... tell your doctor, there is a variety of antibiotics to choose from.
Nine years ago or so, my Lyme Disease went undetected for a while ... ended up with Bell's Palsy, other problems. After a long period of rotating antibiotics, including some IV, all was well ... and I've never felt it again.

I always get tested once or twice a year, my most recent test was right after turkey season and came back negative. Good thing that you caught it early. Get better.[up]

can you describe what you felt like/symptoms that led you to get tested? did you see a bulls-eye or just feel lousy?
