Yesterday for the NJHunter fluke-a-thon the April Ann hosted the team of Reel A-holes .

We headed right to the deep water and had fish on right away only problem was they were shorts[wallmad]After 14 shorts we had our 1st keeper and things started picking up. In the first 2 hours we must of had 30-35 fish with 6 keepers no monsters but keepers. Wind started picking up and before you know 8oz wouldn't hold bottom [down]. Decided to make a move to where the current wouldn't be running as strong then as I started the motor we heard a bad pulley, sure enough once I climbed into the engine compartment I knew our day was done made the dreaded phone call that no Capt wants to make and waited for our escort back in. The guys were more then understanding and I truely appreciate that it's just something that happens. The shame is we had a good bite going and our day was done before 10am. Small set back I'll be up and running again on Monday small tension pulley is all it is but you need a little guy to fit in there to make the repair and I'm not so little. To the guys that organized it you did a great job I stopped by the weigh in congrats to the winners beautiful fish.
