My onkyo receiver has hookups for different zones I was going to throw two outdoor speakers in. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have speakercraft speakers outside of my house. Some on the back of my house and some "rox" speakers out by the pool. Great sound!

if your only planning to use them outdoors only once in a while just find some road side stereo freebies and throw a plastic bag over them.sounds a little funky but will be protected. they do this at the outdoor shows and parades.

my brother owns his own audio/visual company and may be able to get some decent deals for you depending on what you want. we have JBL's installed on our patio. we're in the process of remodeling it this summer, but we mounted the speakers to give us music until we're done with the remodel and will remount them once the patio work is done

not sure what your friend is talking about because the JBL's I have sound great, even when the volume is way down [up]

The Bj's on Rt 37 has nice outside BOSE speakers for $159 They are white and come with mounting hardware. They sound really nice also.

just be careful about putting indoor speakers outside unless you want to take them inside after every time you use em. just the humidity outside can take a toll on them pretty quickly
