Up today at 4am and the weather was nice so decided to head out. On my way about 4:45 started to pour and windy. Got there at 5 still raining and windy so headed home. Figures now it is nice and I am heading to work. There is always tomorrow.[cry]

It was alot colder and windier this morning than I expected. Didn't even hear one gobble. Saw two jakes in a field I can't hunt and two hens in a different field, but not until late morning. Was set up with decoys, and tried calling every ten minutes, but I don't think anything farther than 20 yards could have heard me above the wind anyway.

Yep Bob, you are absolutely right ! ! !
And it was colder than I think any of us expected too. I know that I wasn't warm enough. Did you check out the weather reports for the next week? Doesn't look too promising . . .

that wind was a bit to strong down south here for my liking...with the gun yea but with the bow i dont hunt in that LOL
