Wife has a baby shower on sunday 15min from Davis dopping her and my daughter off and my son and I are going to do some shooting. Was just wondering if any of you guys have been there and is there something I might need to now. Thanks

Been there a few times. If your shooting a gun, obviously it must be cased, need eye protection and hearing protection. They are strict with those rules and have a range guard on duty.

It's nice. I sight my shotgun there once a year and sometimes go with the bow to shoot the 3d targets in the winter.

love the place nice range ,like jdm130 said bring eye protection and hearing protection, guns cased and you good to go[up]

It's a good range with plenty of ventilation. I'm sure you know that it's a 100 yd. max, pretty good for an indoor range, wish Cherry Ridge was indoors sometimes. Don't forget, no handguns in NYS if your just a regular joe from jersey. BTW, if you have your own bench rest device bring it, otherwise I believe you have to pay to rent one.

That's okay, I forgot to tell you to bring a spotting scope or a good pair of binos. to see the target at that distance. Shoot'n See targets are good for just fun shooting. You waste time/money bringing the carrier back and forth too much that far.[eyeroll]

I shot there last year and they have 100yd capability. The range master is hyper-vigilant for safety reasons, just be respectfull. They have automatic target retrieval and bring your own shooting rest. It cost quite a bit of money that day between targets and range time. But at least its a nice range and your indoors.

Run & Gun

Just check there store hours. I live a couple miles from there, and I beleave that they are on "WINTER HOURS" NOW, AND MIGHT HAVE LIMITED STORE/RANGE HOURS ON SUNDAYS AND WEEK NIGHTS.
Just check before you go, so it isn't for nothing!
