This is from last night...I know this isn't a HUGE buck by any means but I'm shocked that he still has his headgear...I have some rut pics that show how much his neck got "rutted" up...

This is probably a little after the rut...

He is a really nice buck I would probably take him...you plan on on giving another year or two he will be real nice.[up]

tonight i shot a big bodied 3 pt in zone 14 and his headgear was strong as can be

from what im seeing it seems like the bigger bucks are holding longer

def my observation also. Prob has something to do with hormones,thats my guess, as it seems the older deer hold the horns longer.
