Moultie collapsable, $50.00, holds 40 pounds of corn, runs on 4AA all season long and is programable for 5 feedings per day.
A full feeder will last 9 days feeding once a day for 8 seconds (Approx. 4 pounds corn per day).
Can't kill these feeders[up]

55 gal drum with a moultie pro feeder 30 feet up in a tree will last aprox. 2 months at two feeding a day for 8 seconds
How do you fill that thing? A bucket truck?[rofl]

I currently have 2 moultrie pro feeders and they work great. One is mounted on a galvanized garbage can and another on a heavy plastic garbage can. Next year I plan on getting some 55 gallon drums and making metal legs for them. Varmit guards are another big consideration you can lose alot of feed when the critters learn to scoop out the feed. I also plan on making metal cages for mine next year.

The BEST deer feeder for the money? IMO an Oak tree not very effective this time of year but every 2nd or 3rd sept./Oct. a real killer!

If your up north you dont have to worry about the molasis mix. The bears will rip that feeder wide open to get.

I like the pvc pipe idea. And they are simple to make.
