QUESTIONS
1. Are you concerned that the rights of gun owners might be under seige by the Obama administration?-In this day and age of political corruption in America, I am always cognizant and genuinely concerned about the erosion of all civil liberties and God given individual rights. As insincere as Obama's campaign rhetoric was, even he and his fellow antiConstituionalists are waking up to the impossibilities of his soulless threats. Any American who is not a member of the NRA is no friend of mine or America.
2. What are your thoughts about the upcoming Obama adminstration and what do you think is in the future of Gov. Palin. Also, what do you think about the media's treatment of Gov. Palin?-Obama and his cronies are currently getting a decent throttle upside their heads right about now with a crowbar of reality from advisors who know how foolish and naive his platform is. The Obama's of the world are nowhere near the danger as is the apathy displayed by Americans who clearly know better but fail miserably to participate in their civic "we the people" obligations in this glorious experiment in self government. Bend over far enough and evil will find a way up your butt. We are getting what we deserve for being asleep at the freedom wheel. The good Governor Palin is the real deal and I expect great things from this status quo smashing warrior woman. Her treatment by the soulless liberal media is proof positive of her obvious goodness. She is my American girl.
3. Do you have any thoughts or concerns about National Security in the future?-That denial and political correctness has tied the hands of America's great military and law enforcement warriors is suicidal. That we refuse to secure the US borders when the warriors are ready, willing and able to do so is an indictment to the abandonment of nationalism in this once great land. It breaks my heart. The Nugent family and everyone I know is more than ready on the homefront. Bring it.
4. Travel Channel host ANTHONY BOURDAIN made a comment to Time Magazine and CNN (see below) about your attitude regarding the witnessing of animals being killed. Considering the fact that you hosted a visit from Bourdain at your ranch, do his comments give you pause to reconsider who you invite in the future?
I think it's both useful and appropriate to experience the shame, guilt and discomfort of seeing what the real cost of dinner is. That said, who likes to see an animal in pain, except for Ted Nugent? I dearly love pork, but seeing a pig die is a pretty bloodcurdling experience. October, 2007
Anthony is a funny man. It is I who has promoted and celebrated in word, deed, actions, writings, TV shows and media beyond any other the spirituality of our reverential relationship with God's life giving creatures. Anthony knows that. Clearly he was punking the interviewer. Precious.
5. Sorry! My publisher said I must ask this question. AMERICAN IDOL is about to start another season....what are your honest thoughts about this show?-I've never seen the show but from what Mrs. Nugent and others have told me it sounds like a decent showcase for varying degrees of talented individuals to pursue their musical and entertainment dreams. Sounds cool.
6. What is in the future for YOU? What can we expect?-More laughter, more backstraps, more gifts of NRA memberships to good people, more guns and ammo, more hunting, fishing and trapping, more ferocious primal scream musical celebrations, more fiery guitartones and songs, more intense Spirit of the Wild TV fun, more outrageous TV specials, more pressure on politicians, more charity work with heroes of the US Military and children, more hugs and kisses for Mrs. Nugent and my kids and G-kids, more dead birds and fowl for my dogs to fetch, more pain and suffering for liberals everywhere. You know, all the goodstuff, but more.
