can you hunt goose on christmas i havent seen anything that says no it just says december 13 to january 19

to the misery of my mom, your are totally allowed to duck hunt on christmas. I started doing this as a teenager and it would drive her nuts. She'd be in church with my dad and sis, and i would have snuck out shooting. She'd always say can't you just give them christmas day off? And i'd agree but still come 3 am i'd be out the door with the dog in tow.
My kids are with me it was their idea all 4 of them and has carried over to their kids when they get old enough and my wife has lived this life for 30 years and tells me to get out of her hair. but then again she goes shooting we us and fishing. and likes the ducks and deer.

i brought up the issue of me going duck hunting christmas morning, and coming home no later than 930 am, and ive never felt the room get so cold! doesnt look like im going out fellas, ill get in trouble[eyeroll] good luck to whoever is going out[up]

i never hunted christmas day before but,
i was out in the afternoon. 3:00 till dark. i heard atleast 5 shots,and saw 2 squirrels. i shot the first 1. little bugger was heading right for me. i put up and fired fast. not sure if i shut my eye or even looked down the barrel.
i hit it and the log it was on. blew it back 5 feet. sad thing is i blew bark up into its belly and face. tore it up too bad and it was, well it was nasty [eek]. too close a range with too tight of a choke,had mod in instead of imp. cyl. it was so close i could've used cyl. bore.
the 2nd i saw after i moved a little further into the woods,no more than 15 minutes after shooting. it did'nt get come into the clear for a shot.
