I have a close to 100 pictures of this small 9 pointer in my yard in the past 3 months, and when I checked the camera this week I was sick. It looks like he has a bad break on his lower leg but he is still getting around pretty good. I have several pictures of him before the heavy rain last week and he was fine.

I started wondering why so many deer in the area I hunt has healed broken legs and many odd racks with one side good and the other side different. Ithink I figured it out.......when the river is low in the area I hunt, the deer can walk under a bridge along the banks with no problem. When the river is high, there is no banks present and they have to walk through 200 feet of sharp rocks, where there feet are going through the rocks and not hitting the ground.

It looks like this winter, I will be making a trail for them in the rocks with dirt, and I will see if this works out for them.

I am guesssing that the deer is 2 1/2 years old. I hve many pictures with him and a solid 7 pointer for the past 3 months and it seems like they are together in almost every picture. I really think they are "brothers" and they always seem to be together. I have been putting some corn out since I have this picture and I will check the camera again tomorrow to see if they are still around.

Hopefully it isn't a bad winter for his sake! If he dosen't make it, it's a shame. Would of rather seen him end up taken by a kid on youth day, or somebody that what have been "estatic". Don't want to see him go to waste, but the coyotes have to eat too![down][down][down][down][down][down]

I have the same issue on one of my spots in Newtown and many of the bucks have broken legs and messed up on one side. I brought it up to another guy on here from UBNJ that killed one that's injury looked just like my deers. I hope it's not a deer disease. This is so wierd. Mine had a broken back leg. 5 other bucks came in that day and one had 2 broken legs and one a broken rear leg.
