I would have thought it would have been a little better than that... I was guessing over 200. The circumfrence of the tines it was makes it look alot bigger. That thang sure is pretty... still could be a state record.

Nice deer, I'm sure your looking in to anywhere nearby with public acess. They do have legs and travel you know.[up] By the way you still need a vest with those nails, come to think about it a cap just might make up the differance in the 200sq inches.

half of asbury is in hunterdon county. however there was another monster like this taken out of there last year during 6 day. was it the same guy ?

A Terrific Buck I am sure it is one of, if not the best one taken in New Jersey this year. I am sorry Robin (rightfully so) can't post the hunters name. She says there is too much controvesery surrounding the buck. Isn't it always the way when a huge buck is taken. This might very well be taken correctly, properly, and legally but because he is big there are always those who think something is not right. For the hunter's sake I hope it is and I hope we all see more of this buck and hear the story. Thanks Robin for posting this and proving to everyone that the post you made of this deer awhile back proved to be exactly what you said he was, a monster! [up][up][up][up][up]
