I believe you are correct Lungbuster. I was listening to the whole meeting today at work. When this came up I was a little jammed at work, but it definitely wasn't voted on. I believe what it came down to is some amendments are being made to the bill then it will put put back up. I think.

Dont go selling your muzzleloaders yet. It aint over til it's over.

no the assembly just voted on the change to the bill right.. the state senate has the final vote before it hots the governors desk correct?
A bill has to get passed by both houses of the legislature ... the Senate and the Assembly.

If, indeed, the bill was passed by the Assembly today (it is not posted on the state web site as passed yet), a Senate version of the bill must be passed, and then it goes to the governor for his approval.

Right now in the Senate, a similar bill still sits in a committee, and has not even been ammended yet.

If I am reading this mess right 50 caliber muzzleloaders are OK any muzzle loader over fifty is out. I hope I am wrong. We will be joining California on this stupid law. Read a box of BRI slugs. Says it shoots a 50 caliber slug.

I am pretty sure that the bil did not pass the assembly. I believe what this means, is that the assembly voted to ammend the bill and the bill will be brought in front of the house and senate at a later date.

Are you reading the ammended version of the assmbly bill, or the original?

The bill, ammended in October, allows all muzzy's up to and including .60 cal

Shotguns 10 ga and smaller were never banned by the bill.

I don't know what today's ammendments are about.
