My wife and I have been talking about this same topic alot lately. Remember when you could plan a trip around the weather forecast from the 6 o'clock news?? If you look it up today on the internet, the weather channel and your news channels it will be different and almost never right when it comes to the actual day you are planning let alone a week. Amazing!

this is a joke. i am dressed for a monsoon and it is 70 and sunny here right now. thought i would finally get to use the tree umbrella too. hopefully the deer capitalize on the nice weather with a stroll to my stand

I said screw the weatherman last night and went out anyway. It was pouring in the morning but there was some deer moving. One was a 5 pointer working over a tree before his number was punched. I did look like the Gordon fisherman to keep dry.

I saw the weather and figured it was a wash. Until I wopke up at 930 and was ticked. Had things to do in the afternoon do that was shot to.

That's two saturdays in a row,my wife thought i was nuts to go hunting in the rain,but it stopped both days just in time to hunt.[hihi]

Yeah! That's three Saturday's in a row that SUCKED for me. The first two I chanced it and got SOAKED! This one I said.. No No.. I'm not gonna do this again.. Then the sun came out around 10am.. [wallmad][wallmad][wallmad] I did catch some trout in the morning with my cousin though. We like to fish in the rain..
