I shot this 10 pointer last night in zone 8 around 6:30. Even though I thought I had hit him well, I decided to back out due to lack of blood...there was only one miniscule drop of blood after 30 yds from the point of impact. Seeing that I did not get a complete passthrough we figured that I had hit the off shoulder but weren't sure so we decided to wait. Recovered him this morning at first light only 40 yds from where I stopped looking. It was a great shot but the broadhead did not exit so there was no blood. This is the biggest buck of my short bowhunting (dressed 162#) career and can't wait to get back out there and put some does in the freezer!
