IT'S HARD TO SAY ..THIS YEAR SOME CAMPS SEEN NOTHING .OUR CAMP THE FIRST 2 WEEKS SEEN NOTHING.IT'S REALLY STARTING TO PICK UP NOW, BUT THIS IS THE LAST WEEK OF THE SEASON..IF THE MIGRATION IS ON YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM SEEING ANIMALS..I WILL SAY ONE THING EVERYBODY I TALKED TO UP THERE INCLUDING GUIDES SAY SINCE ALL THESE HUNTING SHOWS HAVE GOTTEN BIG ,THEY SEEM TO HAVE MORE REAL UNHAPPY CUSTUMERS, THEY ALL ALL THINK IT'S LIKE SHOOTING FISH IN A BARREL..IF IT'S ON YEAH YOU WILL GET YOUR SHOTS ,BUT IF ITS NOT YOUR S.O.L

I enjoyed your pictures and your success. I was supposed to have been hunting caribou in Quebec this past week, but my outfitter Tuttulik went into receivership 2 weeks before my trip cancelling all remaing hunts for 2008. Tuttulik has 4 or 5 camps each holding 8-10 hunters X 4 more weeks of the season (when they cancelled) equals about 200 hunters being out the $5300 we paid after tags. Beware of Quebec outfitters run by the inuit as they are not governed as an individual outfitter would be. So far we have heard nothing about refunds or rebooking hunts. As it stands now, we the hunters have all been robbed of over $1 million for paid in full hunts that did not happen.
