Zone 12
Had a doe at the feeder right after I got on stand 5:15. She stuck around until the feeder went off at 5:30 and scared the crap out of the both of us.[hihi]
A small 4 pointer came after her and stuck around for at least an hour or more. It was pretty cool to watch him[up]

The skeeters were so bad in the spot that I wanted to hunt I dident even go out, I went to check it out the other day and I had to run back to my truck because I was getting eatin alive![wallmad]I ordered a thermacell should be here in 2 days hopefully it will work I have heard nothing but good things about them.

I saw only bucks this morning. at first light, a group of three came in- 2 4s and a spike. around 7:30 I saw a small 6 in velvet make his way past my stand, and around 9 when I had to get down, I saw a group of 2 spikes take off from behind me.

Ive never seen that many bucks in one hunt, and of course it had to happen before I had a tag[mad]

Im heading out in a few to sit till dark - Im pretty sure I'll be able to get one as they seem to move in the same patterns like clockwork in the evenings.

Was out in zone 28, public land. Had two spikes come in and munch on acorns from 8:35am to 9:15am. Also heard some guy using what sounded like a Primos Buck Roar for all it was worth. He blew it loud, long bursts, every 10 seconds or so for about 90 seconds...every 20 minutes, like clockwork. The spikes just looked over that way (about 100 yards away) and kept on eating acorns.

The smaller spike had velevet covered 2-3 inch spikes, the other one had longer spikes, with the velvet dangling off the bases. At about 9:15am, the "grunter" got down and sent the two little bucks scampering away. He did some scouting my way, saw me, waved and went on his way, so I bailed at 9:30am.

A little video of one of them.

Saw two Does early to far about 80 yards. They fed toward the ridge. [up]Felt great being out there, I sat from 0500-1130 thick fog in the morn.

Good Luck all

No Pm hunt for me, going to Hoboken to celebrate 5th anniversary!

headin out in about 10 minutes

Was out in the stand at 5:15 and had a doe come in at 6:20. Got her at 6:23 and spent 2 hours tracking her[wallmad] Nice doe though and it was great to be out in the woods[up]
