I have always used a harness up in the tree but I am thinking of purchasing this product with the lifeline. Is anybody using this? How is it working out.

I purchased it 2-3 years ago and returned it. I didn't like the angle of the straps that wrap around both legs. It goes straight up and down instead of a little from the side of the leg so that there is no contact with your nuts. I didn't like that from the moment I tried it on. God forbid you fall from your stand, the harness may save your life but you'll end up castrated! :( Other than that I though the vest was great. It removes all the hassle of lining up the harness.

So you like the vest but not the additional equiptment? I really want to try out the life line. I looked that the fall guy system but they are 79.99 each and to put one in every stand would be outrageous. Any suggustions. I have the GOrilla treestand hanging rope that is good for hanging stands but it's no good because once you get just below the stand you need to unhook. THis is the most dangerous point.

These things are incredible... I can't believe you say it hurt your nuts. Compared to a regular 4pt harness this is like a god send! I think it is a fantastic product. Its so easy to put on and its hella comfortable. I highly recommend one of their vests to anyone. I didn't want to spend 80 bucks on a safety strap either, but it was so worth it as far as comfortable. The only thing I'd like better is a little longer of a strap. The turning radius is a little cramped. If you shoot behind, you have to rotate the strap over your shoulder first before you draw or when you turn. Other than that, its fantastic.

Money well spent in my opinion. I think they are awesome and wouldn't hunt without one.

Broadhead ? You had the correct size for you right?? I've never had an issue with mine and all of my friends use them too and also love them.

I just went to harry's and bought one. I got The Safety system. two lifelines, Scentlok Savanah suit, 2 hauling lines, 2 portables, Scentlok light weight socks, Tracer nocks, summit rapid rails, all for under 500 bucks. I can't wait to try out this system. I'm not quite as agile as I used to be and I think the lifeline will give me the security I need.

Very cool![up]

Using one since they first came out and wouldn't hunt without it. I find it comfortable, but had an issue with the metalic sound of the clip while holding and occasionally bumping my bow, so I used camo tape over the connections and never heard a thing since.
