Weis Ringwood Twp Passaic 160 acres This is new [up]

nice to see something happening down south.
did ubnj get close to getting the nature conservancy property? at the southern meeting they were talking about it. but it is like the cape properties, everyone hunts it anyways. it helps that a game warden lives next to it, but it's still hunted hard.

It never ceases to amaze me. The UBNJ not only fights for the rights we hold so dear, but gets hunter access to prime property for its members.
Does anyone have any idea how difficult and costly it is to lease great properties like the 7 listed above?
GREAT WORK GENTLEMEN [up][up]

Thanks for the kind words we all appreciate it. In the future more land will be opened to us. We're working on over 2000 acres in the Middlesex, Somerset County area and an additonal 3000 acres in Salem and Glouchester counties for next year. As we add to our program we may need members like you to administer these programs. I guarentee they will be worth your efforts. Hope we can accomodate you in one of our programs soon!
all the best to you
Jack

i'd like to see that happen. like to see it bow only. if we had a large block down here that was bow only, in three years the place would be like the alberta bow zone.

We're working on it, Rob Fischer our SRVP is going around working on people for more land. Doug Brown is working with a large corporation for their huge chunk of land, and I'm in negotiations with 2 of NJ biggest Outdoor Conservation groups with a huge amount of land trust. We'll keep working on it and hopefully it will pay off. UBNJ spends an awful lot of money in the Southern Region, probably more than the Central and Northern Region combined, however due to lack of manpower, we never get the recognition for it in the south. Mainly, we don't have enough people to cover the entire region and get the word out about what we're doing. We also lack membership, at our SR Meeting we had 4 members show up at our NR Meeting we had 100 people show up. That does not stop us from trying or spending our time and revenue on the Southern Region and we will continue to do so. BUT we need more membership participation.
