I have a few questions....
1. do you find that you have better results by leaving the pile in one place continuously or by moving the pile around constantly to keep the deer guessing. Kinda how we use a hit and run method to stand hunting.
2. Do you feel that you would hav a better chance of shooting a good buck without the bait being there due to the fact that most deer have learned to avoid the bait until well after dark.
3. Now for those of you like myself...who dont want to bait the deer but have no real option b/c everyone else does how do you feel your season would go if you did not bait.
4. Also. I have been using a pipe method to feed the deer. How do you all think i would do if rather then have the bait say 30-70 yard off a field, if i scattered the bait in the middle of an ppen field? Or even in a hedgerow that separates two fields.
Basically the deer have gotten smart enough to avoid my area at all costs during daylight although i do not hunt it often and dont pressure the deer much. Plus last year they learned to avoid my trailcam flash if placed along a trail to the bait. Only eay to get pics is to place the cam right on top of the bait. If i attempt to jump the cam furthur from the bait the bucks that are photo'd stop showig up.
