Agreed, but at least I KNOW we're NOT HUNTING PEOPLE
What the hell are you talking about????[confused]
It is REALLY sad that is the "best you can do" when faced with REALITY..........
Ive heard this numerous times from you and proved you wrong every time. Im done explaining myself to you on this topic. My post speak the truth and you know it. Ive been saying this since this whole crossbow controversy started. OHIO IS NOT THE SAME AS NJ. Deal with it.[lol][lol][lol]

OHIO is not NJ period most guys in ohio no matter how many hunters there are hunt on private land:D ohio's private land acreage are through the roof compared to ours...so my point is... this thread is about public land but you cant use those figures against hunters numbers when ohio has way more private land ...have a nice day KIM:D...oh by the way thats Jim and Kathy put together since you guys alwatsgiggle at the same time you might as well be as one[lol]

Dubs, until you are able to break it down into actual numbers as to the amount of huntable land in Ohio vs the amount of huntable land here in NJ, it is a lost cause with ace. Anyone with half a brain can see that since Ohio has 5x the land mass and is 3x less densely populated than NJ there will be more huntable land(and I am talking about ALL huntable land). This makes hunters numbers a moot point since the amount of huntable land in Ohio is that much greater than NJ.

BTW, does Ohio have a safety zone like NJ(ie you must be 450 ft from a dwelling etc)

Well DUP (that's 11pt & Dub)[hihi] Once again you take a topic and attempt to skew the numbers to meet or support your your agenda! The post "started out" as available state land! Land accessable to anyone to hunt without premission or a lease! Plain & simple! This was not a knock at anyone just plain facts that you two were unable to handle! (I understand that because the F-Word (FACT) is a word you rarly use, respect or possibly even know the true meaning of! Land mass has no bearing on the amount of public land available to hunt! So the DUP Brothers once attempt to take a post off subject with flawed logic! Try reading the topic and attempting to stay on subject! And after all these months of debate were the "DUP Brothers" have yet to supply any and FACTS to support their flawed position their NEW position is
OHIO is not NJ period
...DUHHHHHH!!![rofl]

HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL...and that's a fact even the Dup Brothers cannot skew!!! (hopefully)

Fred, Dubs, et al: that box of straws you guys are grasping at should be pretty empty by now, but guess you're into "BS recycling"! [rofl][rofl][rofl]
Take a break...enjoy your Father's Day! :D

and proved you wrong every time.
[rofl][rofl][rofl][rofl]

The DREAM WORLD you folks reside in , is it "crowded"

This makes hunters numbers a moot point
[rofl][rofl][rofl][rofl]

Have you "lost it", HOW can hunter numbers be moot when we ARE talking about hunting ISSUES??????

At the first post in THIS THREAD it IS proven that NJ has MORE public land than OHIO........"I" have proven (easily) that OHIO has MORE than TRIPLE the amount of HUNTERS than NJ has.......

What IS a "moot point" is how many NON hunters any state has in regards to hunting pressure or crowding......

Dream on IF you "think" any of this BS is convincing anyone of Anything.....

OHIO is not NJ period
NO one has said it IS Fred.......

Yet the Real DATA from Ohio tells those who WILL pay attention many things , and even with MORE hunters and LESS Public land than NJ, THEY manage to "get along" and BOW hunt together even with crossbows and other bows (side by side) for OVER 30 Years= Facts PERIOD

this thread is about public land
That's Correct (wow Fred got one right) :D

You can NOT talk about "private land" , because everyone can't hunt private land period....

Public land IS public- Fact and NJ has MUCH more of it, and MANY Fewer hunters than Ohio does= Fact

So don't KEEP on TRYING to [cry][cry][cry][cry]

HOW bad it IS in NJ, with the LONG seasons and bag limits YOU folks have, NO one is "buying the BS you're TRYING to sell to us"....

Im done explaining myself to you on this topic
One can ONLY HOPE that IS true.........

My post speak the truth and you know it.
NO , I don't "know it", nor do I care HOW MANY NON HUNTERS and CITY Folks LIVE (but don't hunt) in each state, it has NOTHING to do with this topic and YOU KNOW IT......

OHIO IS NOT THE SAME AS NJ. Deal with it
DUH.......

NEVER said "it was", ONLY that over 30 YEARS of REAL HARD DATA can't be ignored, you DEAL WITH THAT ....

Fred, Dubs, et al: that box of straws you guys are grasping at should be pretty empty by now, but guess you're into "BS recycling"!
Take a break...enjoy your Father's Day!
I know someone said this before and it is so true. If it doesn't fit you agenda then it must be false. Hard to dispute what I posted, but you will sure try. You people pitifully hilarious.[lol][lol]

What IS a "moot point" is how many  NON hunters any state has in regards to hunting pressure or crowding......
Sorry but not true...Population density and the development of land due to that has a lot to do with the amount of available hunting land thus it affects how crowded hunting situations can get. The total amount of huntable property both public and private has a direct correlation to how crowded certain lands will be. So yes..the population density of a state certainly has a lot to do with the available amount of land to hunt.

Also I asked this earlier but can't seem to find the answer...does Ohio have safety zones? (ie you must hunt 450' from a dwelling/structure

the development of land
True, what's NOT true is that is a NJ "specific problem", it's in EVERY state and NOT getting better and THAT is just ONE more reason WHY WE need MORE new hunters, the STRONGER WE are the better OUR chances of keeping SOME hunting land....

You don't have to "like me" or how I word anything to KNOW that's totally TRUE...

The total amount of huntable property both public and private has a direct correlation
Was THAT the question?? The topic/subject WAS available state land until you guys were shown the FACTS then you change your position! Nothing unusual abot that but for once you would think you could stick to the topic at hand! I guess when your getting your head handed to you with FACTS you have to try & save face by changing the rules!!![cry]

I sure plenty will back me up on this one.

Well, then WHERE are "All of these folks" backing you up then?

You can TRY to overlook the FACT that NJ has MORE PUBLIC land acreage than Ohio, I don't really care, YOU can NOT "change the FACTS" however to suit your agenda......Period

WE have posted the total available Public land in both states as well as the FACT that Ohio has much less of it and OVER three times the HUNTERS.......PERIOD

Spin, argue, insult, doesn't matter and CAN'T change any of it.......

And yes post was about state (public land), but it was also brought up the number of licensed hunters Ohio has compared to NJ. Also, that NJ has more state (public land). But was not brought up is the amount of private land Ohio has. 87% of Ohios forest are private and only 13% are public. That seems to tell me that the majority are hunting private land.

When you tell us the number of hunters in Ohio, you better tell us whether they are hunting private or public. Otherwise your so called facts don't hold water.

and private
NO ......

PRIVATE land is just that PRIVATE , there is NO promise that "you" (whomever you may be) CAN EVER hunt it (and it includes too much NOT huntable land as well, which I have NO doubt both of you know already)

The ONLY land WE KNOW "you" can hunt IS public land, EVERYONE has EQUAL chances on Public land......

you must hunt 450' from a dwelling/structure
Wasn't that JUST changed to 150 in NJ?
