Seems like the bowtech's have some real fans. I remember when they came out with the mighty might about ten years ago that bow made me wince in pain. I guess they have come a long way I will have to give them a try.
They really have come a long way since the mighty mite. My first bowtech had the harsh draw cycle that you were talking about but I think you should really go out and give them a try now. They are truly awesome bows. The general is REAL nice as Dubs suggested. There are many different models out there. If you have a short draw length and an upset shoulder, you might want to try a Bowtech Equalizer. Or you might want to try a Diamond... Also great bows..

about bow much are these bow tech's in the 6's? Anybody ever shoot a Martin?

Personally I think the higher pricing on some bows coincides with higher speeds. They know people will pay a higher price for the fastest bow. When I first started out, 300 fps was the benchmark. I guess I've got a slow one now!

Martin makes some real nice bows and their packages are great. I was about to buy one when I happened to win a Parker Wildfire last year. Quite frankly, I never would have thought to look at one since everyone is "buy Matthews, no buy Bowtech, no buy Hoyt". I was going to trade it in and upgrade but I liked it so much I ended up keeping it. It shoots as quiet as my buddy's Bowtech Constitution (which absolutely is a nice bow). As for accuracy, I've only had the chance to sight in up to 30yds but it's hitting quarters. I have rotator cuff problems but it has never affected me.

My point is not to say "buy Parker", but as BT said, "Go try 'em all."

Thanks for the feedback Willemo. My shoulder is most affected when I have to let a bow down from full draw example would be a hunting situation when you draw back anticipating a shot opportunity and it doesn't arrive. I absolutely can't shoot a bow that creeps forward. Alot of guys are saying the Martin bows are silky smooth.
