Has anyone shot the new limbsaver bow? I've read some good things about it but I'm the type that is a bit sceptical of ads. Thinking of upgrading from my Hoyt UltraMag this year to either the new High country, the Pse xforce, Mathews Drenaline, or the Limbsaver. It's supposed to be super quiet and forgiving. Speed is not that important to me if I want that I'll just crank it up a bit. I'm more concerned with quiet and accurate.

I've looked at the bowtechs one of the guys on my team shoots one. I have shoulder problems and the draw cycle is a bit aggressive but your right they are great bows. Thanks for your feedback

I dont care how ugly it is as long as it's quiet. My hoyt is kind of noisy stiks. When I bought it back in 04 it was considered a quiet bow. One thing I like is that it doesn't have much torque. I don't know where the sound is coming from. I don't shoot a drop away. I don't have a mounted quiver. cant figure out why. and lately it's been slapping me on the forarm and i'm not even canting the bow

That's not the bow, that's your hand position and grip that places torgue on the riser causing the bow to twist in your hand when the string is released.

Blood trails that's site is pretty awesome but wouldn't the 99 percent let off be a pope and young infraction?

MTH I've been shooting for a long time I'm not canting the bow there is something wrong. Camo man some of the guys on my team shoot mathews too. I have to say they are hitting the most bullseyes at 40 and 50 yards out of all of us

So?

Actually, just reading the rules, you are still eligible but you get an asterick next to your name if you use anything more than 65% let off (yes, every compound sold today)

However, you would be disqualified because the Mini-29 is under 30" in length (like many modern compounds)

Have you shot one of those before? I'd like to see it in action

You want accurate, quiet, and forgiving. Check out bowtech constitution. The draw cycle is very smooth for the bow has a long axle to axle. I also have shoulder problems and after shooting alot of bows last year, this was the most comfortable of all. As for the arm slapping, this is usually due to a draw lenth being to long and a closed stance. Go see Tom at STRICTLY ARCHERY in washington, he'll set you up right. He shortened my draw a full inch, the accuracy improved,no shoulder fatigue, and no arm slap.

Seems like the bowtech's have some real fans. I remember when they came out with the mighty might about ten years ago that bow made me wince in pain. I guess they have come a long way I will have to give them a try.
