What scares me most is the judges remarks and action. Someday, maybe all animal killers will be considered cold blooded murderes and subject to prosecution. Including (NJH) deer hunters. If an animal eats your crops, wether it is a groundhog in your garden or a bear on your farm you should be able to protect your property. I don't feel sorry for the bear either, they are becoming vermin in this state, just like they were before they were protected by Fish and Game.

I don't feel sorry for the bear either

[down] i do if the bear's are on YOUR LAND and you have a permit[ez to get] yes kill them but the j-off's went out of there way[ trespassing ] to kill it

you need a permit on your own farm for things like deer. However, if you have a carnivore that comes on your property after your livestock, you can kill it right then and there. example: stray dogs come over and start chasing after your cattle/horses/etc. it is legal to shoot them.

what got this guy in trouble though was that he wasnt even on his farm, he was out in the woods hunting deer illegally with no license and they saw a bear and shot it.

Had he been on his own farm and the bear was there at the same time, he MIGHT have had a chance in court.

This story just makes me sick. This guy should not be able to reproduce. Let alone hunt.

The judge and this guy is obviously an antis.

The puzzling thing is how did this guy get caught. He must have been really bad at covering his tracks. Instead of throwing the radio collar in the river he could have taken it somewhere far away then disabled it. He could have disposed of the carcases somewhere far from where he killed them also. Then he would have never gotten caught.

Corslime and all of his Liberal Democrat Anti Hunting scums will stop at nothing to protect the bears. If you live in Bear country....Sucks for you. That is their attitude. Believe me, if they could do away with ALL hunting they would. I'm afraid the handwriting is on the wall here in good old NJ.
