I ran into a older gentlemen this afternoon in Sussex county who says hes been hunting for 40 yrs in NJ. We started to talk about bowhunting, and he told me NJ was making crossbow hunting legal for all next year. Any truth to this? Has anyone heard anything about this??

Why are you choosing to treat xbow like some mythical creature. Other states have done this period. Their numbers don't lie.
I could care less "how you feel" or "I feel that" or "maybe this will happen.
You guys are to late, other states have done it.
We are talking about Deer Hunting .......not buying property or anything else.
Yes NJ is largely Anti Hunting......YET the sponsors of those two stupid bills WERE voted out, proving the voice of the sportsmen/women MATTER........WHY not make it a much stronger voice?
NO reason to "give up" , why not CHANGE the things WE can?
NJ is largly an anti hunting state! So would it not make sence to TRY & unite the hunting community for one voice? If you give anti-hunting people a foot hold it hurts EVERYONE...Kentucky, Alaska, Pennsylvania......Stand up guys & see the big picture rather than your own little selfish snapshot!![mad]
