How about teams or singles
If it's decided that the teams will consist of three members. For a total of three possible scores. If someone wants to be single ,allow them to score their three biggest birds. Or a team of two hunters can score their three biggest birds. etc. Regerdless of how many are on a team, only count three birds.
Inexperienced hunters can have four or five on a team to better the odds, but only score the three best birds
I prefer the NWTF scoreing system.

i was thinking 3 people per team and the nwtf scoring rules. just like last year. nothing crazy.
njplotts is nice enough to donate somthing of his midnight madness in the basement for the biggest bird killed. I would like to get somwone else to donate 2nd and 3rd place. Any ideas ? $3 bucks a person to got to the board.

I'll donate calls for the contest. I think Stagg is going to handle the entering fee which goes to NJH
Youth hunters choice(box or friction single or double) for the largest bird taken on youth day.
A double talker friction call for best bird, a single friction (slate or glass)for 2nd place bird. A chalk box for the 3rd place bird. I'll go with NWTF scoring.
Anyone object before I commit to this?

I say single, this way some peopl wont get stuck with guys who dont get out.

Stagg, Dont wait on Dragthor to respond to an email....He has 1000's of them from NJH alone, not to mention work and personal, you'll be putting together the 2017 turkey contest if you wait for a response...

collecting money can cause problems, easier to keep contests free
make sure you keep up with the leaderboard and have clear rules that try to cover loopholes.
Good luck, running contests can be a pain in the rump.
