I know that to hunt land that belongs to the natural lands trust you need to download a permit and carry it with you while hunting.

I wanting to scout some of their land this year and was wondering if it is OK. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Should I trust you?

If you have a trust that you are interested in, it's best that you go and scout it for yourself. Look for sheds and sign. Put up a camera as well if you want to. Make your own judgement of the property.
Too many variables to consider and only you will feel comfortable with what you saw on that piece.

I hunted the Franklin/ Ogdensburg area land trust, saw a few deer during 6 day gun, didn't go during bow. Looks like all the locals are hunting the property anyway, there were permanent tree stands all over the property. I haven't gone back, don't really think it was all that good.
