Pheasant Hunt @ Powderbourne in PA pix

Well took my uncle and friend for a pheasant hunt at Powderbourne in Pa. I had never been there before however came acroos a thread here about this place so I gave it a try. Nice land and Nice birds. Excellent Prices also. Sorry these are the only 2 pix I have. The dog is my 2 year old Llewellin Setter. He has a great point and excellent nose. He needs work retrieving.

Nice job. I've hunted Powderbourne a number of times over the last 5 yrs. Best prices going for a preserve hunt and good fields too.
I'm heading out there 1 day next week. ;)

Great pics genx [up] You should post pics of your dog more often... he's one good looking setter :D

If you have some time, a dummy (and eventually a dummy launcher) will help with the retrieving. Just 10-15 minutes every other day will be great. I like to affix a pheasant wing to the dummy to provide additional scent for the dog :D

Exactly. Then throw in the 2-4 extra birds you almost always find and it's a great day. ;)

I'm looking at a week from Fri most likely. I'm taking a couple of friends who no longer have dogs. Should be a good day.
