BOTH!

You will need a block type target with seperate dots for arrow/bow tuning followed by broad head tuning.

Then you will need that 3-D target for realistic practice before and during the season

a live deer so you can get us some points:D

I have the Delata Broadhead Buck. But I use an old Morrell box target as a back stop.

Both can handle broadheads, but the Delta BH Buck is not for practicing angled shots.

if you want a block go with the bassproshop redhead one its half the price of the big names and it has been holding up phenominal for me. is hoot 5-6x week into it and ive been using both broadheads and field points.

somethign else to consider is an eternity bag target only a few bucks and will last a lifetime.

a small 3d target will help out wonders as well but not 100% needed.

I use a block as well, had to make up a new handle but the block itself has taken thousands of shots so far. I have shot into one of those bags too, and i must say that will be my next target, arrows come out without any trouble at all ( not sure of the name but they have a bee on them)

I use a 3-D deer targets to practice with field points and a good broadhead target for broadheads like The Block or better yet the Morrell Yellow Jacket is what I have now it's a little cheaper like around $50.00 if you shop around [up] In my opinion it makes good sense to keep it on the inexpensive side as when your shooting broadheads no matter what target you own you'll chew it up pretty quick.
And being I shoot a lot, I go thru targets pretty quickly [cry]

I have every type and the bag targets last the longest, but you can only shoot field points into them. Get a small layered target for broadheads, a bag target for general practice and a 3d target for lifelike hunting practice.

i used muy glen dell for everything. broadheads and field points. the has 4 people shooting at i so it takes some abuse with no harm done. well i no longer have because a buck in my moms back yard destroyed it. i think im going for another though.
