Lost my father in-law yesterday....

Reading that your father in-law was a fireman you know there is a special place in heaven for him. I'm sure he's found other great firemen up there and they're sharing stories right now. I'm confident that one of the first things he did was to look up some friends and family that have passed on before him. People he's missed and was probably looking forward to seeing again as he knew his end was near. You'll miss him and he'll miss you but have comfort that he's with some special people in heaven. I'm quite certain he's seeked out many of the men from 9/11, shook their hands and passed on his gratitude for their sacrifice. Live your life right and one day you'll see him again many, many years from now. You just have to have patience and wait. Have patience my brother.

Sorry to hear that Joe like others have said the pain is over for him. He is in a better place.
