Hello to all...been taking in all of the valuable info on this site and finally decided to post a question...Thinking about taking advantage of the long permit shotgun season in Zone 8 and plan to hunt the Black River WMA with my brother...Just purchased a topo map of the area and going to focus on the power line and swamp area...does anyone have any advice on this area? Thanks in advance

In case you don't know there are 2 parking lots on North Rd. one is next to Bill's Luncheonette and the next one down mile post 33 is the shooting range/Black River Office. And as Plotts said there is no Island, it's a penninsula.I have a giant 3'x18" aerial of the place and can't find an Island.
