a snare is a leash. we are not allowed to use killing snares. 95% of my fox need to be dispatched with a .22. a conibear is a killing trap, needs to be under water in nj. snares have a deer stop on them and this keeps them from closing tight. they do not die almost instantly. learn the sport if your going to state "facts"

i got $25 for yotes last year, put up on boards.

Only two!!!??? Get em all next time[up] Congrats[up]

FALSE !!!
Almost all critters caught in Snares are alive.
I caught 7 coyotes that were radio collared and released...One was well enough to make it from Warren county to 50 miles S.W. of Phillidelphia only to be shot by a goose hunter as it appouched his decoys
I KNOW THAT IT JUST SOUNDS BETTER

Absolutly false again! Do you HONESTLY think that "they die almost instantly" sounds good to a person thats against trapping? Tghe purpose of the snare is so you can release non target species.
I'm pretty sure the reason why the snare came about in NJ is because people were against the use of leghold traps. And only when used wrong did they die from them.
