I'm sure this topic has been brought up a hundred times. If other states do it why can't we?. Is it that our state just sucks totally and is against it.

Has this been brought up with Assemblymen or women or others???

Is there a plan in the works by UBNJ or any other organazation out there???

maybe someone on here has a more defined approach on this subject.

The no sunday hunting doesnt bother me at all. For me Sunday is a day for church and family. Like I said this works for me, its just my opinion. If they allowed Sunday hunting, I would not hunt anyway, so it works for me the way it is. I understand why guys would want it though.....

Yes, there have been bills in both of the last two leigislative sessions. They never made it out of committee this session, but they got very close to being passed in the 2004-2005 session.

I'm sure new bills will be introduced for the 2008-2009 session.

Keep writing your letters, and support our conservation organizations/clubs.

Hi Deadbolt

I really don't think that its a matter of bills having to wait in line, its more NJ dirty politics.

You have to have hunter/angler friendly people as committee heads, and legislative body leaders. These are the people that decide which bills move.

Do I even have to comment?

Elmo hit it on the head, this is why they don't want Sunday hunting. It's a Common Law and its always been this way! I for one would love to have an extra day to hunt on the week end![up] The State would make more $$$ off of us too. They would probably make a Sunday hunting permit out of it, you know how this State is.

For the working stiffs like me it basically doubles the amount of time I can hunt. Even more when you consider those Saturdays when family obligations mean NO hunting that week. There would be some Sundays I could still get out.

Some complain about shorter overall seasons when the reality is it would offer more huntable days for the majority. AND...I'd gladly give up hunting on one day during the week.

It would be nice to be able to hunt Sunday.
Id like to see the Hunting 150 yard from a building rule changed to 50 yards. Now that would be nice. Especially in this populated State. It would open up alot more hunting areas.
