This is a long story but i will keep it brief, i had a spot i was saving for the rut. I had my camera out there and went to check it a couple weeks ago only to find someone had smashed it to pieces, (idiot forgot to take card out and i have a picture of him), anyway i notice a new treestand in one of the trees i hunt there so i try to get in touch with the landowner to find out what is going on however he was away, so i leave a note on the tree. Well this guy calls me and says he got permission to hunt the property in exchange for some tree removal work. I tried to tell him i have been hunting there for the last 15 years and he is set up in my tree and we need to discuss where we are all hunting. The dude turns out to be a total a$$ and is refusing to remove his stand. So i tell him about the smashed camera as he is the main suspect, he of course denies it however he refuses to meet me so i can show him the picture. so anyway i call him two days ago to tell him me and my brother and my two nephews will be hunting the property for youth day and i plan on hunting my spot, which is only thirty yards from his stand. This dude calls the landowner and starts complaining saying that we are hunting too close with guns and an accident may happen and the landowner will be liable ( i guess he thought he could get us thrown off). Well the landowner decides nobody is hunting anymore thanks to this idiot so now i have two extremly upset nephews and words cannot describe how pissed off i am.not to mention i just lost my spot i have been hunting for fifteen plus years thanks to this J/O. Good news is i will be getting the guy in the picture identified soon and charging him.

It sounds like a good ass whooping is in order. And when you get done implant what remained of your camera in his anal cavity. This way he can take pictures of anyone following him.

Sorry to hear, BUT...

You must be thankful this guy isn't bright.[up]

This MUST be the same guy I have had problems with on several properties.!!!

PM me right away....! I know his name, where he lives, everything about the guy.

I had permission to hunt a great spot up off of 31 in pennington. Turns out this guy has permission there also, so me and my dad try to be civil with this guy and tell him that we will hunt aroud his schedule since he was there first. The guy calls the landowner and threatens to bill him for all the tree work he has done on the property unless he gives us the boot off the property.

Needless to say...the landowner politely asked us to stop hunting there[wallmad]

I agree, find the name of his company. That seems to change peoples tones quite quickly. However, he could just be a complete jerkoff and not care about that either.

It sucks though. We had a similiar problem last year on a small farm we had. Land owner gave us permission, told us we were the only ones hunting it. About second week of bow season some guy starts walking through the woods each day to go hunting ruining our hunts. Long story short, the guy had permission for a piece that was down on another road, but he used this piece to get there. Problem was he wouldn't get home from work until 5 and then would trudge through the piece we were hunting at 530 or 545 when it was getting dark at 7 or 715. He also liked to quit early and come walking back out at 645 to avoid walking in the dark. We got the land owner involved and she told us to work it out ourselves or we were all done hunting there. She didn't want to tell him to take a different route since he was a neighbor yada yada. We got along like men after that but the guy was a real j/o and kind of turned us off to hunting the property cause he only changed his route a little bit and we knew we only had one season on it anyways since it was sold to developers.

chrism....is there anybody or anything that u dont know??? u seem to be the smartest person in the world!
I dont know if your being a smart ass or not....

But me and Outdoorsaddiction hunt a lot of the same areas. I have had an exact situation as this with a guy who runs a tree service......coincidence? Maybe....but I would jump at the chance to help stick it to this guy. I suspect he has stolen a few stands from me....but never any proof. Now we may have some with this trail cam pic...

now i wouldnt have been as nice, i would have cut his treestand into little pieces and left it there. I tired of being the nice guy and getting the shaft by bullies.
Better yet call the tree company he works for and tell them he offered you a discount if you "paid in cash, if you know what i mean."[spy]

He owns the tree company...

The best bet here is to get a positive ID of him in the trail cam picture and take it to the police. The good news is...Outdoorsaddiction is the Police[hihi]
