Great Day at Powderbourne (pix)

I went out to Pa today with The Girls. We had a good time. Put out 8 hens, had 10 flushes. Two were no shoots and one got a free pass. It seems the Nut behind the stock (Me) forgot to reload the barrel after shooting a bird. So when the next one went up and I only really had 1 good shot at it, I pulled the trigger on an empty chamber. DUH.

Seriously, though, what a beautiful place to hunt. And, those two obviously well-trained dogs must be a joy to spend the day with. Are they GWP's or DD's?

YOU DID WHAT? I can't believe you got a SH to hunt with 'ole fur face. LOL

They are DD's out of Altmoor kennels in S. Jersey.

looks like a nice pl, did you kick up any deer?

No deer. I've never seen one in the bird fields with as many times as I've been there. I have seen them in the area on the way to PB.
